  1. How Do You Rank? Students will examine strategies employed in the search positioning process and for analyzing their Website. They will also study how people search the Web to determine how and why keywords play a major role in search engine training.
  2. Improving Your Search Rankings After careful consideration with your compiled keywords, you will find out how to use them on your pages. You will dig deeper in “what makes the search engines work” and why you may not be positioned in the top 20. You will discover factors that affect relevancy, weight of keywords, keyword placement, etc. You will gain a better understanding of what works. There will be tips, techniques, and resources for you to explore.
  3. What is in a name? Everything, when it comes to a title. Create a description that will be seen by millions and learn about the use of Meta tags on how they work. You will focus attention on these all-important tags.
  4. Linking Building high-quality backlinks is the single most important effort you can apply toward improving your search engine ranking. Learn about inbound and outbound links. How to find the right links.
